Welcome to the Kansas Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
Across Kansas, thousands of children grow up in homes impacted by substance misuse, often carrying invisible burdens that affect their safety and stability. The Kansas Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (KADEC) works to ensure they are seen and supported by strengthening early recognition, reducing stigma, and building coordinated systems of care across our state.

Look Again | A Statewide Awareness Initiative
Look Again is KADEC’s public awareness initiative, encouraging Kansans to pause, notice the signs, and respond in ways that protect and support children and understand what to do next. Through education and practical resources, Look Again helps caregivers, educators, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community members recognize risk factors and take meaningful action without judment or blame.
You can’t help what you don’t see. But when we choose to look again, we can be the difference.
